Kudos to the state of NJ and the fine job they did of plowing and caring for the state in this latest snowstorm. So far...I have heard no complaints. Good Job!

What's Goin On?

Hello...and welcome to another edition of My World of Opinion...Been somewhat quiet around here lately...so I have no idea where my mind will take me in this blog!!  LOL  Sit back...relax...and good luck!!!

Well...the big question...where to start??  OK...Let me just go with the flow of sports...HOW BOUT THEM JETS????  HOW BOUT THEM SEAHAWKS??  Come on...who wasn't impressed with the 7-9 team dethroning the defending Superbowl champs??  I sure as hell was!!!  And then the JETS got their revenge in the Wildcard game against the Colts...and now we will beat New England...then win the AFC Championship game against Pittsburgh or Baltimore...it don't matter...then onto the Superbowl...It can happen...you just gotta believe...and I do!!

I am sorry to all the Eagles fans out there for their tough loss at home on Sunday.  But I do have a question...Why??  Why do you feel it necessary to vandalize because you lose??  WTH is this world coming to when a FAN can't go see his team, regardless if it's the visiting team, and if his team beats the home crowd, they pick on, insult, throw beverages, or vandalize the car??  WHY??  Do you feel like a big man/woman now??  Does it make you feel better???  Hey here's a thought...if you are gonna be angry at someone...try your OWN TEAM...and be mad at them for not being able to pull out a win!!!  Why is it necessary to hurt someone else who roots for the other team??  What good does it do??  Will you still feel that way when your in jail after??  Just curious...

There were two incidents that I heard of from the news.  One was a father & son that went to the game.  The son lives in PA, and the Dad in Green Bay...they are both Packers fans...so the dad decided to buy tickets to the game on Sunday, and go to the game as a birthday gift.  He showed up wearing a packers hat...and so the fans tailgating gave them minor grief about being Packers fans...Go to the game...Packers win 21-16 over Eagles...they leave and get to their car...both side mirrors are broken...the wipers are broken off...the sides of the car are dented in and scratched up...REALLY???  The other was a family came to the game...a family with little kids went to game and they were getting out of there SUV they started being verbally attacked and when they returned to their car it was completely trashed!!  REALLY???  Do you feel better after that??  I mean honestly...WTH is going on??  WTF is your problem??  You bunch of Jack-Nuts!!! 

Now...apparently Snow-mageddon is coming...and everyone is running to the stores because you may be stuck inside for at least 1 day.  Now...normally I laugh at this...but this time I am not...The last storm we had...NJDOT dropped the ball big time...or the Governor, or Lt Governor, or the 3rd in command...it doesn't matter at this point...SOMEONE DROPPED THE BALL!!!  You knew we were getting snow...and you weren't prepared!!!  Roads were not plowed...Highways were not cleared...Cars were left trapped and the plows went around them...people were trapped in their homes with no way out for a few days in several areas...and to me that is just unacceptable!!!  You say you had the man power...You say you had it under control...Did you??  Didn't look like it to me.  Then you say that the storm overwhelmed you...You say that you were prepared, but the storm came in too fast...Really??  If that's the case...why didn't you get more man power??  I understand that many independent contractors were turned away, cause you didn't need them.  It sure seems like you need them to me!!  Just saying!!!  I think you need to have a plan...and get your act together and get it done right the first time instead of having people trapped, and the EMS unable to care for those who call 911.  Just saying!!!

My Merry Christmas Blog of Thoughts…

OK…so…this is Christmas…and what have you done?? Well…I can tell you what I have done…a whole lot of stuff…and even still I have not done some things I wish I would have!!
I love this time of year...in case some of you may not have been able to guess!!!  Love all the Christmas movies that are out and being played!!  Christmas Vacation, Christmas Story, Miracle on 34th Street, The Santa Clause, and ALL the classic movies from the 60s & 70s with the old style puppets and claymation...just AWESOME!!  And of course all the Christmas music one can handle!!!  I LOVE IT ALL!!!

What a wonderful feeling when Christmas time is here!! I am in the mood, in the spirit, being the unofficial Cheermeister of everyone around me, I love this time of year. It’s just so much fun!! What’s not to love about Christmas?? Seriously…what’s not to love?? Go ahead; tell me…I wanna know!! I can’t think of anything…except for maybe the FLIPPING cold!!! (Yes…I am doing my best to curse a little less this time of year!!) It’s just the most wonderful time of the year. The songs that are played now, have so many different meanings. But the common meaning, to enjoy this time of year…be with family and friends who are dear to you…and spread a little cheer to your fellow man/woman. What’s NOT to love about this…I mean seriously!!!

What I just don’t get, is why society has turned into a bunch of pleasers. Why not just stand up for what you believe in??!! Why is it that we do things to make people smile, and bring joy and warmth to everyone’s heart, that when ONE PERSON complains…then we take it all down?? What the heck is up with that?? It’s just ridiculous how we just cower down, and bow to all the haters and complainers, because they don’t like us spreading the cheer. A Christmas tree is donated to a public school…and put up on display…two days later it is taken down, because someone complained. The CHRISTMAS Village in Philly, next to city hall, been there for 3 years…it’s all about Christmas…not in the religious sense…someone complains, and they take the sign CHRISTMAS down…WHY???!!! Luckily, the mayor said, it’s a Christmas village, and the sign stays, and it went back up. He also lit the CHRISTMAS TREE the next night…and said it was a CHRISTMAS TREE on television. Why?? CAUSE IT IS!!! What are people thinking calling it a Holiday Tree??!! I have a question…what IS a Holiday Tree. Hanukah has a bush, Christmas has a tree. So what is a Holiday Tree for?? What does it look like?? I have never seen one…have you??
Radio station NJ101.5 has a CHRISTMAS CHOIR contest going on right now. They want any schools with choirs to submit entries for singing Christmas songs. People are complaining because it’s a Holiday contest, and religion isn’t in the public schools. So…Jingle Bells…that’s a religious song?? How about Frosty the Snowman, or Here Comes Santa Claus?? Are they religious songs?? LIGHTEN UP PEOPLE!!! Have a heart!!! Seriously!!!

Well...that is all for now!!!  Although I do have one more point to make...Why is it, that one can come up wirth great last minute gift ideas, and they are already sold out...???  UGH!!!  From me to you...Have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS...and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

OK...someone explain it to me...Is it a gene thing??  The way your raised thing??  Are men just that dumb and ignorant??  I wanna know...where do some men get off??  Where do these morons come up with the idea that it's ok to do what they do??  What makes you think you are better than us??  What makes you think you are better than them??  What makes you think that you are better than anything or anyone?? 

OK...I bet by now...you are wondering what the hell am I talking about.  Well I will tell you...I am talking about why do some men have an idea, that they think it is right to abuse a woman??  What gives them the right??  What do they THINK gives them the right??  Where do you get off thinking it is ok to hit a woman??  Where do you get off thinking it is ok to abuse a woman...both mentally & physically??  I really wanna know...someone please explain it to me.  I have kept my mouth shut long enough on this topic.  I have seen it, or at least the results of it, or the signs if you will, too many times.  I am so sick of it!!!  It is just so wrong on so many levels.

Why is it, when a man and a woman have some kind of disagreement, and the man feels intimidated...or that the woman is wrong and he is right...that he has to hit??  What does that prove??  I want to know!!  Or...why when you don't get your way...then you call her names, or insult her...ad break her down to the point of whatever you say...you are right no matter what??  Come on tough guy...tell me!!  You have no idea what it takes to be a real man...what it takes to please a woman...what it takes to make a girl happy!!  If ya did...you would NOT strike her.  You would NOT insult her...call her names...demoralize every fiber of her being.  Real Men don't do that shit!!!  Real Men never raise a hand to a woman...or demoralize her in any way.

No...a real man would work it out if there is a disagreement.  He would never raise his hand to strike her.  He would never call her mean names, or insult to the point of bringing her to tears just to get his way.  Men & Women will ALWAYS have a disagreement or two or a million...that's just the way it is.  No way around it.  But that sure as hell doesn't mean that a man is always right...and a woman is always wrong...and to prove it to her, you're gonna knock the shit outta her, and set her straight!!!  That is just ludricous and a crock of bullshit!! 

You hurt these women.  You demoralize these women.  You crush the very fiber of their being to the point that if you say jump...they should already know how high!!  I mean really??  You are that big and bad, you can just hit a woman, and be ok with it??  You can insult her, calling her every name in the book, making her feel so worthless, so broken down, so far lost and gone from what is right, that she would think its OK for you to do such things to her.  Why??  For what??  I don't get it...you are nothing but a worthless piece of shit.  Any man who can do that to a woman is just a worthless, no good, useless piece of trash.

Tell ya what tough guy!!  You have a problem...and you feel like hitting a woman...come look me up.  You can try and knock my ass down.  I will guarantee you, it would be a LOT tougher than trying to knock these women down.  Not saying that these women couldn't hold their own against you.  But I bet you wouldn't know what the fuck hit you.  And then maybe...just maybe...it would knock some sense into you!!!  Doubtful...really fucking doubtful...but just maybe!!!

STOP THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!!!

Wow...I am gonna be 39 tomorrow...I can't believe it...Where have all of the years gone?? Where do I go from here?? Gonna be interesting to say the least!!
